Solar Energy Generation (20kW)
This solar energy generation system can produce an amount of electricity equivalent to 600 fluorescent lights (2.5 Watts) enough to light all the classrooms, and contributes to reducing CO2 by 7.6kg per hour.
Light shelves reflect daylight deep into the school building creating bright spaces and saving electricity.
The school uses geothermal energy for heating and cooling to regulate the internal temperature between one to three degrees centigrade of the external temperature. This leads to reduced energy consumption.
